This year Mom insisted on cooking both ham and turkey for Easter dinner. It was wonderful. And now we’ve got a fridge full of delicious leftover ham.

I’m guessing I’m not the only one looking for easy Weight Watchers Friendly leftover ham recipes about now. I need to use up what remains of the slow cooker spiral ham I cooked up for the holidays.

So, I did a little digging and came up with a great collection of yummy ways to put leftover ham to good use. All are easy to make and include Points information. If you have leftover ham from the holidays, any one of these will be perfect to make. And if you don’t eat pork, substitute turkey ham instead for all of them.

How Many Weight Watchers Points in Ham?

According to the Weight Watchers App, 1 ounce of cooked lean ham, including ham steak and honey or black forest ham, has 1 Point. You can have 3 ounces of extra-lean ham or 96% fat free deli ham for 2 Points.

1) Easy Crock Pot Leftover Ham Bone Soup

This crock pot leftover ham bone soup is an easy and delicious way to use up a holiday ham and hambone. Load your slow cooker and let it do all the work while you get on with your day.

Lighter than your typical quiche—which is usually made with heavy cream—this simple Bisquick based impossible pie is made with lean ham, Swiss cheese and sliced green onion. To keep this low in calories and WW friendly I opted for reduced fat Swiss cheese and milk.

A classic made lighter and easier thanks to the slow cooker. Every time I dig into a dish of creamy scalloped potatoes and ham I ask myself why I don’t make them more often.

6) Slow Cooker Ham & Split Pea Soup

A long-time family favorite, this easy healthy and delicious soup makes a satisfying meal. You just combine everything in the crock pot and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. How easy is that?

Just chop up the ham, stir in a few seasonings and make a fabulous salad that you can stuff into sandwiches or use to top Triscuits, or cucumber slices!

Leftover ham and rice are a winning combination. Amazingly tasty and satisfying, both Rod and I rated this quick and easy fried rice with vegetables and ham a winner.

10) Peas and Ham Pasta Salad

The great thing about pasta salad is that you can make a big batch of it on the weekend and eat it all week. It’s one of the keys to simplifying lunch and dinner planning all week.

Casseroles are a great use for leftover ham and this tasty leftovers for Breakfast (Lunch or Supper) casserole is no exception.

Today’s recipe is for a Hawaiian inspired dish that combines cubes of sweet potatoes and ham with pineapple jam and pineapple chunks. Yum! 

More Weight Watchers Friendly Ways to Use Leftover Ham:

  • Sandwiches (hot and cold) – Substitute ham for the Prosciutto in this open faced sandwich.
  • Omelets – This Western Omelet muffin recipe calls for ham.
  • Macaroni & Cheese – such as this light stove top one would be great with ham added.
  • Pasta – This James Beard Pasta recipe, which calls for ham, is simply delicious. 
  • Salads – such as this spinach orange one would be yummy with a bit of ham.
  • Quiches – add a little chopped ham to this delicious spinach quiche.
  • Quesadillas – substitute leftover chopped ham for the hotdogs in these kid friendly quesadillas.
  • Scrambled Eggs – substitute chopped leftover ham for the smoked salmon in these scrambled eggs.
  • Stratas – like this smoky roasted pepper one would benefit from the addition of chopped ham. 
  • Soups – such as this Spanish Potato & Onion, would be delicious with a little ham added.
