Hi Martha! You are so welcome! I am a weight Watcher member signed up in May of this year, with the online version and then upgraded to meetings before my three month time was up and getting ready to switch over to standard payments. So glad I did, I do enjoy the meetings and the support.
While scrolling through some youtube videos about weight watchers simply filling plan and smart points users, I seem to remember coming across one of yours. So I had to put in a search for simply nourish and found your site. I have been back and foutth on the both sides of the plans.
Today I am back with working with the Simply Filling technique again.
And you gave me some inspiration to work on getting a weight loss blog going. That is what I am working on now.
My big goal is to get to Weight Watchers Lifetime Membership.

I Feel Good & Still Have A Long Ways To Go, But With Your Help I Think I Can Make It!
I have been on WW for years, off and on for too many years to count. (Off being the primary word.) I have never reached goal. So when I decided to try one last time, I was looking for an incentive when I found you! You are that and so much more. I have copied everything you have sent me.
I went to the Dr. this week. He went through my labs, (BS was 89, never been that since ?) checked heart, lungs, and ankles for swelling and looked at me and said.... "You have lost 16 pounds also. Do you have a twin?" I assured him that I didn't.

I Made A Few Changes To Your Carrot Cake Baked Oatmeal And It Came Out Perfect!
Hi Martha - I tried the Slow Cooker Carrot Cake Oatmeal recipe. I tweaked it slightly in that I used unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk. I used a 1/4 cup of brown sugar and two stevia Sweetner packets. I baked it in a casserole dish, as opposed to the slow cooker, for 60 minutes at 325F degrees. It came out perfect, moist and delicious. I also cut it into 9 pieces instead of 8. Dear Martha - I accidentally signed up for your inspiring messages over a year ago, and they have changed my outlook on everything. I have struggled with using food as comfort for many many years, never considering how much I was hurting myself.
I tried WW in the past, and was sometimes successful until life knocked me down again (miscarriages, deaths of parents, cancer and divorce) and I would yet again turn to food. It was always there for me, never judging me, replacing the missing pieces.
Until your emails. Your focus on the positive, your non-judgemental approach really work for me. I have stopped beating myself up for constantly letting myself down, and am focussed on how hard I always try again, thanks to you.

Hi Martha - I just finished 19 days working on the road, mostly away from my wonderful kitchen and available great foods. Thanks for your inspiring emails. They enabled me to eat healthy breakfasts, and eat a lot of fish and tons of veggies while traveling.
I would order my salmon with half the plate steamed veggies and a salad with oil & vinegar. I was not a saint the whole time, but I made much better choices while on the road because of your inspiration.

Tried Your Slow Cooker Braised Chicken & Vegetables and It Was Amazing!
Good morning Martha. We tried your recipe for slow cooker braised chicken and vegetables this weekend and it was amazing!
The chicken was juicy, tender and very well cooked. The vegetables were really good and flavorful. The only step I added to this recipe is actually roasting the chicken, so I put it in the roasting pan and roasted it for 15 minutes at 350F.
It's a definite keeper - thanks for sharing!!

You are so right! I attended my first WW meeting in 1965 or 1966. I had many cookbooks from that era. I was an on/off dieter, with emphasis on diet for many years. I earned Lifetime (first time) around 1977 and re-earned it in 2001.
I have been wrestling with 10 pounds this past year, but this current journey to take it off is probably the best one as I am making changes that I can live with for the rest of my life. I am finding the newer emphasis of beyond the scale to be helpful.

Martha - we have been meal planning like this for a year now. It helps with groceries, and also meal prep on the day. I need to remember what to pull out of the freezer, or to prep the night before.
Most of the meals that I find online - such as Slenderkitchen - or in cookbooks, I put on the notes section. I also place the recipes on Pinterest that I have interest in - and then move them to copymethat when I have made them.

I have not rejoined WW yet..I joined back in 1972, or so, when it came out and only needed to loose 10 lbs. I have seen many changes since then.

Hi! I have followed you on Facebook for quite a while and have enjoyed a number of your crock pot recipes. Delicious!! I work at a small hospital in Kansas. I am the grant coordinator for a grant we received from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The grant is for improving health in our community through healthy food choices and physical activity. Hi Martha. Im on Weight Watchers right now and your site aligns with the program so well. I have limited menu choices since I eat no mammals, but I do eat shrimp and salmon and chicken and turkey.
In addition, I am into healthy eating but I am very specific about the veggies I eat, so I search for recipes that can work for me. I've found several in your offerings and I am grateful for those.
I rarely buy or download cookbooks because they never fit into to my specific food choices but rather research individual recipes that will work.

I Wanted To Let You Know That You Were My 'A Ha' Moment Today
Hello Martha - I somehow came across your website as I was looking for yet another miracle diet and I watched your video on your WW journey. It brought me to years as you were actually telling my story, even the childhood "fat names".
After many many diets and also including re-joining WW more times than I can remember, I actually got to my goal weight . (I’ve always been about 30-40 overweight through my ups and downs of life). It was the best feeling ever and yet after I stood up in front of the group to tell my story and accept my "lifetime," I never went back.
This was in August of last year and I had just attended my 35th high school reunion and it never felt better. Well here I am 6 months later and 20 pounds heavier and so disappointed in myself.
I'm 53 and I still haven't made that connection.
I follow WW online but mostly just read comments at this point. I’m too embarrassed to go back as you mentioned.
I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that you have been my ah ha moment today.
This has to be a lifestyle for me because as I can see, the diet thing is not working for me.
