I can't tell you how thrilled we were with your menu posted this week! We are on vacation and in a condo for five weeks. Keeping meals simple. I made both the chicken broccoli pie and the broccoli cheese soup for the first time this week. Both were a big hit. Then last night we had your Caribbean Jerk Chicken which is a definite favorite. Made your lasagna soup last week!!! Yum!

Martha, Thank you for sharing profound wisdom. I am a writer. I just began my career as a writer six months ago. I am working on a memoir. There will end up being two memoirs ... one about my childhood (abuse I endured at my father's hand) and one about my adulthood (how I was set up to become a victim by the way I was raised and how I overcame that victim status). I hope to be a beacon of hope to women who have struggled with abuse, both as a child and later as an adult.
Your email about change resonates with me. No one in my family ever encouraged me to develop and use my talents. It has taken me most of my adult life to get to this point. I embrace my talent and write every day with an eye toward being published. A book is a big undertaking and will take the better part of a year.
I am changing also by taking off the 70 lbs I have to lose. I have lost four of the five pounds I had gained back. I am determined to weigh 125 lbs. again and to feel really good about myself.
Thank you for your kindness; I get a lot out of your emails. I am making the sausage and peppers today. It has another hour to go before it is ready. I look forward to it. It smells yummy.

Martha - I actually joined WW after I started making your recipes. I'd joined Weight Watchers twice before (and tried many other diets), but I always gave up because the food choices seemed too restrictive.
After a few months of using your recipes, especially the slow-cooker ones which I can freeze in individual portions, I decided I might be able to stick with the program this time. I've lost 35 pounds so far, and a lot of that is due to having your recipes available!

Hi Martha, I can't tell you how excited I am to have found you and your website. I've been dieting since I was 12 (am now 74) and you know the struggle it can be.
At this point, after years of trial and error, including WW, I am combining whole food/plant based with anti-inflammatory and Mediterranean diets. The one sheet pan dinners have been life savers for my family!
We have tried the Rosemary Chicken with Potatoes and the Chicken Fajitas.
Tonight we are going to try the Chicken Parmesan with Zucchini, and we have on our list to try the Shrimp with Broccoli.
Each evening my husband and I chop the veggies and assemble everything on the cookie sheet and in 30 minutes we have a super yummy dinner!
We love the smell of the garlic and herbs as it is cooking.
In the past we have done a lot of frozen food because we are exhausted and in a hurry.
But now, in about the same time, we can make a healthy and very satisfying meal.

My Husband and I Really Enjoy the Impossibly Easy Pies
Martha, I emailed you a couple of weeks ago to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed the Impossible Easy Taco Pie and I also said I would be trying the Chicken & broccoli one. Well… we liked that one even more. That was delicious and once again it makes enough for 2 nights and maybe lunch for 1 of us.
In our house if you are the one cleaning up the kitchen you can wrap up the last bit and disguise it (ie: mislabel it ) so you can have it for lunch the next day. ? I would label it green beans and he would label it liver. Just thought I would let you know once again that we definitely have 2 keepers that will go on the rotation. Keep them coming!!

Martha - bless your heart for all the work it must have taken to update the SmartPoints in your ebooks to the new Freestyle points. I had ordered your original bundle and have made good use of it. Having been on the PP plan, I didn't like the look the new SP when it rolled out, but decided to rejoin this morning to see what the new program would bring.
I was worried about how this update would affect your ebooks but here you are, just hours later, getting me up to date and right on track. I've downloaded the updated points so that all I have to do now is check the original recipe - I have them all in their own binder - then go to the download and update the points! Brilliant!!

Somehow, seeing your daily messages keeps me feeling accountable for one more day. Even the repetitive messages serve an important purpose.

I Made A Few Changes To Your Carrot Cake Baked Oatmeal And It Came Out Perfect!
Hi Martha - I tried the Slow Cooker Carrot Cake Oatmeal recipe. I tweaked it slightly in that I used unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk. I used a ¼ cup of brown sugar and two stevia Sweetner packets. I baked it in a casserole dish, as opposed to the slow cooker, for 60 minutes at 325F degrees. It came out perfect, moist and delicious. I also cut it into 9 pieces instead of 8. The Aroma Of The Skinny Slow Cooker Chicken Puttanesca Is Swoon Worthy
Hi Martha, I made the Skinny Slow Cooker Chicken Puttanesca cooked on HIGH for 4 hours. The aroma was swoon worthy and reminded me of an Italian restaurant my husband and I used to frequent. The texture and juiciness of the chicken was outrageous and all the flavors from ingredients melded beautifully. I'm 100% Italian and this dish is definitely authentic fare. This recipe is going into my rotation file, so delicious and my husband loved it just as much a I did. Keep them coming.
