Old Weight Watchers Cookbooks - Exchanges
(The Old WW Program) (Nutritional information for calculating points plus may or may not be available depending on year of publication. They are a great option for those interested in losing weight using the old Weight Watchers Program that used food based exchanges.)
#1 Weight Watchers New 365-Day Menu Cookbook: Complete Meals for Every Day of the Year
One of the biggest challenges in weight loss and maintenance is planning new menus that keep you on a healthful food plan, and that are also varied and appealing.
This book has you covered with an entire year of delicious menus that will help. It features a main dish recipe for every day of the year, and a full day's menu built around that recipe, plus complete nutritional counts and Weight Watchers Selection Information.
I've had this cookbook since my initial go-around with Weight Watchers back in the early 1990s. Because the recipes were contributed by Weight Watchers members, staff and magazine readers they are simpler and down-home in nature.
#3 Weight Watchers' Quick Success Program Cookbook
A good choice for those looking to follow the old Weight Watchers Exchange program, since it predates Points Plus. The recipes may be dated for some folks.
#4 Weight Watchers Simply Light Cooking: 250 Recipes from the Kitchens of Weight Watchers
Another book I picked up at VNSA Used Book Sale, this was published in 1992, so it predates Points Plus, making it a good choice for folks who prefer to count exchanges. The nutritional information needed to calculate Points is provided. Many of the recipes are designed to serve 1 or 2.
