I love festive holiday cocktails almost as much as I do the food. Unfortunately, they can be loaded with calories and cause me to wake up feeling less than my best. At my age, where alcohol is concerned, less is more and lighter is better 🙂
A couple years ago I made this yummy Skinny Cranberry Sangria for Christmas Eve. Everyone seemed to like it and I was able to enjoy several glasses with no negative effects.
This year, I'm hoping to have similar success with these Weight Watchers Raspberry Champagne Cocktails. According to a recent article I read (can't remember where) most champagne cocktails are lower in alcohol and calories and more food friendly than mixed drinks. A Weight Watchers Win-Win!
Skinny on Weight Watchers Raspberry Champagne Cocktails
A delightful, light, refreshing combination of raspberry-cranberry juice, sparkling wine, lemon-lime seltzer, ice, fresh raspberries and mint with just 99 calories and *3 Weight Watchers Points Plus.
Weight Watchers Raspberry Champagne Cocktails
- ¾ cup raspberry-cranberry juice chilled
- 1-½ cups sparkling wine chilled
- 1 cup lemon-lime seltzer chilled
- Ice cubes
- ½ cup fresh raspberries
- 4 small mint sprigs
- Combine the juice, wine and seltzer in a pitcher. Fill 4 wine glasses with ice.
- Divide the cocktail mixture evenly among the glasses. Garnish each glass with raspberries and a mint sprig
