I buy two every Sunday, and break them down into 3 ounce portions. I use the meat in chicken salads and recipes, and the rest gets turned into stock, which I de-fat and use to make soups.”

Nothing better than a rotisserie chicken in my house. First we eat the breast meat (me in my salads and my husband and son for sandwiches). Then I pull off the rest of the meat and make chicken enchiladas with the rest of the meat. Then I throw the bones into a pot of water with celery, carrots, onions and spices and I eat chicken soup with zoodles for several days after. So, my $5 rotisserie chicken ends up feeding many, many days.

  4. Use rotisserie chicken for dinner with sides. Left-over chicken for salads and soups. Yum. So many ways to use it.
