WW Recipe of the Day – Slow Cooker French Onion Meatballs
These slow cooker French onion meatballs aren’t just easy. They’re delicious too!
With just 2-ingredients, this is the perfect recipe to toss into your crock pot on a busy day!

I used to be a kitchen overachiever who considered it “cheating” to use store-bought already cooked meatballs.

These days I’m glad to have precooked meatballs as an option when time is short, but if you prefer, you can always make your own.
Skinny on Easy Slow Cooker French Onion Meatballs
To keep the points as low as possible, I opted for turkey meatballs, which tend to be lower in fat and calories.

We enjoyed our slow cooker French onion meatballs with mashed potatoes and broccoli. They would be good with rice, cauliflower rice, noodles or zucchini noodles too.

Itโs great!! I will make over and over again! Honestly, there is nothing easier! Thank you for this recipe!
If not using frozen meatballs… making them from scratch… do you cook them first or add them uncooked to the slow cooker?
Hi Elyce, you could make this recipe with either precooked or uncooked meatballs, whichever you prefer. They will take longer to cook if uncooked, of course. Hope this helps. ~Martha
Super easy to make. Great cold weather food. Can’t wait to try it again.
I slice an onion and add it to the meatballs in the crockpot
What do you suggest serving it with as a dinner?
Hi Jill,
Mashed potatoes, noodles, zucchini noodles, rice, roasted carrots, roasted broccoli are some of the sides I’ve served with these meatballs. ~Martha
Iโve cooked this several times now, and it is always great. Than you so much for sharing. For those of us working from home…it just takes a couple of minutes to prep…for an enjoyable meal for dinner.
