Pizza is one of my all-time favorite foods. I genuinely cannot imagine life without it, which is one of the reasons WW has been the only weight management program that has ever worked for me long term — no food is ever completely off the table.

My approach to pizza has evolved over the years. I no longer eat it as often as I once did, and I’ve stopped the habit of eating past the point of comfortable. But more than that, I’ve discovered a whole range of pizza-inspired recipes that satisfy the craving for a fraction of the points of a traditional restaurant slice. A tortilla crust. An English muffin. A pita. A cauliflower crust. Pizza soup. Pizza casserole. If the flavors are there, the format is negotiable.

This collection pulls together my favorite pizza and pizza-inspired recipes from the SNL kitchen — organized by crust type so you can find what you’re looking for quickly..

Personal Pizzas (Quick Crusts)

These are the weeknight workhorses — single-serving pizzas on a ready-made base that come together in 15 minutes or less.

  • Hawaiian English Muffin Pizza — sauce, cheese, ham, and pineapple on an English muffin. Quick, satisfying, and exactly what it sounds like.
  • Tortilla Pizza for One — a high-fiber low-carb tortilla pre-baked until crispy, then topped with sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil. The flip technique is the secret to a genuinely crispy crust.
  • Crispy Pita Pizza — a whole wheat pita toasted until crisp, topped with marinara, mozzarella, and turkey pepperoni. Ready in under 10 minutes.

Pizza Casseroles and Pasta

When you want the flavors of pizza in a hearty, feed-a-crowd format.

  • Deep Dish Spaghetti Pizza Casserole — cooked spaghetti forms the “crust” for this layered dish of ricotta, meaty marinara, and mozzarella. Part pizza, part pasta, part pie.
  • Pepperoni Pizza Chili — all the flavors of pepperoni pizza in a hearty, warming chili. Works on the stovetop or in the slow cooker.

Slow Cooker Pizza

  • Crock Pot Vegetable Pizza — yes, you can make pizza in a slow cooker. The crust browns nicely around the edges and it’s surprisingly good.
  • Slow Cooker Pizza Soup — pizza in a bowl; topped with shredded mozzarella and fresh basil, this is a pizza lover’s answer to soup night.
  • Slow Cooker Pizza Fondue Dip — serve with bread, crackers, or vegetable dippers; all the pizza flavors in a warm, shareable appetizer.

WW 2- and 3-Ingredient Dough Pizza Recipes

The 2-ingredient dough (Greek yogurt + self-rising flour) has become one of the most popular pizza crust options in the WW community. It’s versatile, surprisingly good, and takes minutes to make.

  1. Your recipes look so good. I don’t know if you can help me. There was a ww pizza recipe years ago using cooked rice and mozzarella cheese as the crust and ground turkey as the meat. It was so good and I have tried to duplicate it but I don’t have it quite right. Do you have any idea what I am talking about. Any help in finding this recipe would be so appreciated. Thank you.

    1. Hi Julie,
I’m not familiar with that particular recipe but it sounds really good! I will keep my eyes out for it. Any more details…Approximate year? Was it from a magazine, cookbook, WW handout? ~Martha

  2. Hi! Back in the 70s, my mom made a sauce recipe that she would spread on bread and put a slice of cheese, then broil. She would use it for my sisters and I for snacks when we were kids. Now we cant find the recipe. It was a weight watchers pizza sauce recipe I think. Any help would be appreciated.
