Note: If the mixture is too thick, stir in 1–2 teaspoons of water until you reach your desired consistency.

Recipe Notes, Variations and Substitutions

  • Don’t overdo the pudding mix. Stick to 1 tablespoon. More will make the fluff pasty and overly thick.
  • Not sweet enough? Add a sprinkle of no-calorie sweetener or a few drops of vanilla extract.
  • Using regular (not sugar-free) pudding? Use 2 tablespoons instead. Points and calories will be higher.
  • Too thick? If the mixture seems to thick, add a little water (1-2 tablespoons) until you achieve your desired consistency.
  • Enjoy right away. Enjoy this immediately. It can get hard and dry when left to sit in the refrigerator.

This combo of yogurt and pudding mix is just one of many easy Greek yogurt dessert recipes I love—especially when I’m short on time but craving something sweet and creamy.

2 PointsPlus (Old plan)
Use plain nonfat yogurt (Greek or regular). If you use Greek yogurt it will have a “tarter” taste which I like. If it isn’t sweet enough add a little extra no calorie sweetener.
Use only 1 tablespoon of instant pudding mix (sugar-free) to 3/4 cup of yogurt. This is one case where more is definitely NOT better. The mixture will get much too thick and pasty!
If you opt for regular instant pudding (not sugar free) use 2 tablespoons of dry mix.
If the mixture seems to thick, add a little water (1-2 tablespoons) until you achieve your desired consistency.
Enjoy this immediately. It can get hard and dry when left to sit in the refrigerator.
Possible toppings/mix-ins:
  • Berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries)
  • Freeze dried fruit
  • Crushed pineapple
  • Chopped peaches
  • Crushed granola bars
  • Grape-nuts
  • Light whipped topping (for a more mousse-like consistency)
  • Mini chocolate chips
