Weight Watchers Recipe of the Day: 5-ingredient Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs
Can you believe it's already slow cooker season - my favorite time of year.
Weight Watchers Friendly Crock Pot Hawaiian Meatballs
I realize the focus on Simple Nourished Living recently was all about Juicing.
But don't think that means I abandoned my slow cookers. Not by a long shot!
I still used them several days a week to cook easy healthy Weight Watchers friendly meals.
These 5-Ingredient Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs were a particular favorite for two reasons: 1) ease of preparation and 2) lip-smacking sweet and sour flavor.
Skinny on 5-Ingredient Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs
To keep things super simple, I used frozen low fat turkey meatballs. You could always make them from scratch if you prefer.
For the best flavor you'll want to use a thick teriyaki basting sauce.
Easy Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs
I served these luscious slow cooker sweet and sour Hawaiian meatballs with steamed brown rice and roasted carrots.
Everyone licked their plates clean 🙂

These look delicious! Just curious, about how many meatballs in a pound and therefore as you have stated, a serving size would be 1/6. Thanks.
Martha McKinnon
Hi Susan,
That will depend on the size of your meatballs. There is definitely variation from brand to brand. You'll want to count the total number of meatballs you place in the cooker and then divide that number by 6 to tell you how many in one serving. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. I try to count and measure the food I post here before we begin eating it but failed to do it this time. Sorry about that.

Have made several times. We all enjoy this one. Have made quite a few of your recipes and they are always good. Thank you!

Thanks, MG. So glad to hear you liked these Hawaiian Meatballs. I love how easy they are 🙂
Amy
Can you do this with pre made turkey meatballs?
Martha McKinnon
Sure!
Lynda
What do you use for a thick teriyaki basting sauce.
Martha McKinnon
Hi Lynda, I use Kikkoman Teriyaki Baste & Glaze. Hope this helps. - Martha
Erica
Is 'Kikkoman Teriyaki Baste & Glaze' the same as 'Kikkoman Marinade and Sauce'? If not can I use them interchangeably?
Martha McKinnon
Here's a link to the Kikkoman products: https://kikkomanusa.com/homecooks/products/product_sub_list.php?fam=102 It appears that the baste and glaze is a thicker product. If you use the marinade & sauce you mqy want to increase the tapioca a little for thickness. Hope this helps. ~Martha
