WW Recipe of the Day - Easy 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker BBQ Smokies
(32 calories | 2 2 2 myWW *SmartPoints value per serving)
The crock pot cocktail sausages I made them a couple of weeks ago were such a hit, I decided to try again with a different sauce.
So, I used my 1-½ Quart Crock Pot (affiliate link) to make a little batch of these easy 3-ingredient BBQ smokies.
The recipe from Fix-It and Forget-It Big Cookbook: 1400 Best Slow Cooker Recipes (affiliate link) called for a combination of barbecue sauce (affiliate link) and salsa, two ingredients I always seem to have on hand.
Skinny on Easy 3-Ingredient BBQ Smokies
If you're not able to locate turkey or chicken little smokies, you can always make your own: just take your favorite fat free hotdogs and cut them crosswise into 3 even pieces.
While these easy slow cooker BBQ smokies were good, we liked the last batch made with apricot preserves better.
According to my calculations each one has 32 calories and:

2 *SmartPoints (Blue plan)
2 *SmartPoints (Purple plan)
1 *PointsPlus (Old plan)
Rod found this sauce too tangy for his tastes, which means all the more for me 🙂

Hi Martha! I have been enjoying reading your WW crockpot recipes every day. Today, I had a quick question - exactly how many of the little smokies is in one serving - one of them? It wasn't clear to me and having never purchased a package of them, I didn't know how many came in a package.
Thanks- and keep the recipes coming! Barbara

Hi Barbara,
Yes, it's 1 Points+ per each little smokie, at least based on the one or two kinds I've purchased, which usually have 30-35 per package.
