The corn steams in it’s own juices.

The result?

Moist, tender, delicious corn on the cob.

Foil-Wrapped Corn on the Cob

Just shuck and clean the corn. Wrap each ear in foil. Place them in your slow cooker (affiliate link) and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.

How easy is that?

Three ears of corn on the cob wrapped in aluminum foil in black crock pot.

Recipe Notes

If you wanted you could season your corn before you wrap it in foil or you can spice it when you serve it.

Either way will work.

I like my corn plain and simple: sprinkled with salt and pepper.

But you could spice things up with chili powder, lime juice, curry powder, garlic pepper, pesto, grated Parmesan, cajun seasoning, etc.

Or better yet, just let everyone spice their own corn to their own taste.

This corn on the cob is so moist, sweet, and flavorful you might even be able to eat it without butter ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Hello Martha, could you cook this corn in the slow cooker without having to wrap in foil or would they dry out?

    1. Hi Cathie, I’ve only done it as described in the recipe. If you were to opt to skip the foil, I would add 1/2 – 2/3 cup of water into the bottom of the slow cooker to keep them from drying out. Hope this helps. ~Martha
