Spring is in the air. Summer is quickly approaching. So for those of us trying to eat lighter and healthier, that can mean only one thing: Grilled Chicken.
To prevent boredom from setting in here is a roundup of 27 light and luscious low calorie recipes for grilled chicken, from my favorite recipe sites all with Weight Watchers Points Values to help you keep your meals sizzling all summer long.

If you are like me and prefer to grill indoors with your trusty grill pan (affiliate link) or George Foreman Indoor Grill you are in luck. All of these recipes can be grilled indoors or out. And perfectly okay with grill pans and electric grilling devices that allow me to cook indoors.
Recipe Notes
I’m kicking this collection of grilled chicken recipes off with one of my all time favorites: Ina Garten’s Grilled Lemon Chicken from her original The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook.
I’ve been making this recipe forever, only skinnier. I love Ina and olive oil, but it’s pricey in more ways than one. So, if you’re watching your pocketbook and/or your Weight Watchers points, do what I do, use a whole lot less.
All you need to do is marinate boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a bowl or zipper-lock plastic bag, let it sit in all that lemon-herb goodness and well, that’s pretty much it.
The longer you marinate the chicken in this simple combination of lemon, olive oil and herbs the more tender and flavorful it will be.
How Many Calories and WW Points in this Grilled Chicken?
Now that boneless, skinless chicken breasts are zero points on WW Program, according to my calculations this now only has about 253 calories and 1 WW Point.

Recipe Variations
- Different Meats/Fish: Chicken thighs, shrimp, swordfish, halibut, tuna, etc.
- Different Spices: Basil, rosemary, tarragon, herbs de provence would be nice.
- Zestier: Add Dijon mustard, chopped garlic, dried red pepper flakes.
- No Lemon Juice? Substitute 1/4 – 1/2 cup of vinegar for the lemon juice. Red wine vinegar, sherry vinegar, apple cider vinegar, rice wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, etc.
- Sweeter? Add a tablespoon or two of your favorite sweetener. Honey or maple syrup are two of my favorites. Your favorite low calorie sweetener – monkfruit, erythritol, sucralose, etc. as would brown or white sugar.

I would definitely make Honey Soy Parmesan Grilled Chicken first. It would satisfy my taste for sweet & slightly salty and reward me with only 191 calories…YUM!
I’d try the Thai Chicken Skewers. I like Emily Bites and have never made anything Thai!! Thanks for hosting this awesome giveaway.
WW Grilled Ginger Lime chicken is my # 1 choice. Ginger and lime is my very fav flavor combo and since it’s a WW recipe that’s works just great for me.
Grilled Ginger Lime Chicken would be my first choice because the Vietnamese flavours are so clean and delicious and family friendly.
I would make Honey Balsamic Grilled Chicken and Vegetables. The picture makes me hungry. I would love to try a George Foreman Grill.
Ina Garten’s Grilled Lemon chicken. I like that it is a simple recipe with few ingredients, and a nice cleN taste.
I would make #7 – Grilled Chicken Tacos with Lettuce Slaw, Avocado and Cotija. I have a real hard time getting my husband to eat chicken. He’s a big beef and potatoes man. But if I tell him we’re having Mexican food for dinner, he’ll eat just about anything.
I would make the tandoori chicken – I love Indian food!
I would make Ww lemon grilledchicken with tarragon. I love. Grilled food, but i hate cooking outside in the cold. This would make things so much easier and healthier eating. Quicker to cook ibstead of waiting for a cold bbq to warm up to grill a couple of pieces of chicken. I love your website and i have made many, many dishes in the crockpot and others. Keep up the great ideas and work you do with your website.
I would make Thai Chicken Skewers with Peanut Sauce. It sounds so yummy and I love Thai food. I’ve also wanted to try PB2 so this would be a great time to start. Thank you for all the wonderful recipes. Can’t wait to try out most of these, chicken is a favorite meat in our house.
