Are you looking for a quick, healthy breakfast that actually keeps you full? This simple yogurt bowl might become your new favorite.
Weight Watchers Friendly Breakfast Yogurt with Fresh Strawberries
At least, it’s mine.
This was the first recipe I tried from French Women Don’t Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano, and I’ve been making versions of it ever since.
Creamy yogurt mixed with flaxseed oil, finely ground cereal, nuts, and a touch of honey creates a satisfying, nourishing breakfast that comes together in minutes. It’s especially nice in summer with fresh berries, but it works year-round.
It’s also perfect for busy mornings when you want something quick but feel-good.

Ingredients & Substitutions
- Non-fat Greek yogurt
- Flaxseed oil (or olive or safflower oil)
- Fresh lemon juice (or orange or grapefruit juice)
- Honey (or 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup)
- Finely ground walnuts or almonds (any nuts you like)
- Finely ground sugar-free cereal (shredded wheat, oats, or similar)

How to Make Best Breakfast Yogurt
Add everything to a bowl and stir well until smooth and creamy. Serve right away.
Variations
- Swap yogurt for ricotta or cottage cheese
- Use any nuts or cereal you enjoy
- Change up the fruit with what you have on hand
Skinny on Best Breakfast Yogurt
I like to grind a week’s worth of nuts and cereal and store it in the fridge. Then breakfast takes less than 5 minutes to pull together.
Top with fresh fruit—strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, or chopped orange all work beautifully.
