Happy Friday! Friday has always been my favorite day of the week.
Is there anything better than Friday?
Pizza, perhaps?
Pizza makes my happy 🙂
Combine Friday with pizza and I’m in heaven!
Growing up we often had pizza for supper Friday nights. It was a tradition that I continued through college and into my early working years.

Heck, I love pizza so much I’ve even made it in the crockpot!
Sometimes I satisfy my pizza cravings with lighter, healthier alternatives to traditional pizza that are just as delicious.
I’ve gathered a few of my favorites here for you to check out.
They include pizza-flavored “mini muffin pizza bites,” veggie-crusted pizzas, “English muffin pizzas” and thin crusted pizza flatbreads made from pitas, tortillas, or prepared thin crusts (like boboli or lavosh flatbread).
Even my mom, a huge pizza lover, has started making her own mini pizzas with tortilla crusts at home, instead of heading out to her favorite pizza joint when a craving strikes.
Enjoy!

I would travel the world, help the less fortunate, adopt all the homeless animals, and open a mystery book/tea shop for anyone to hang out in and relax.
If nothing stood in my way I would travel the world. As cheesy as that sounds I have a severe case of wanderlust. I have been fortunate to travel to Kenya (in high school), and recently to Denmark (and quickly to Italy and France) and I just want to do it all over again. I want to see all the breathtaking landscapes, experience new cultures, try new foods, and just overall become a more inspired and knowledgable person.
If nothing stood on my way I would go back to being a police officer. I was injured on the job and forced to retire. I miss working every single day. But God is good and I am blessed therefore I will go where He leads!
OH my gosh… Not an easy question to answer… At 60 years old, there are material things I’d change and physical things I’d change (that’s a work in progress & how I discovered simple-nourished-living).. That being said, the thing I would change would be to not have been in such a hurry to grow up, to think I knew best and to get away from my parents. I would have understood that they would be gone one day instead of running out the door to be with friends. They are both gone now and I regret not spending more time with them and not telling them more often how much I loved them. There’s a song about packing up the kids and driving to heaven for a visit. I’d do that if I could, letting them meet their great granddaughter. Thanks for asking such a great question!
If nothing stood in my way, id donate money to the sr. Hobday womens shelter and start a pitbull animal rescue providing low cost med svcs and training so that all the dogs would be good breed ambassadors.
If nothing stood in my way, I would quit my job, move to New York and want to work as a stage manager on Broadway. I love anything and everything theatre related, and I enjoy the times that I have spent as a stage manager for local community theatre productions. It would be amazing to be able to work on Broadway, doing a job that I enjoy.
If nothing stood in my way, I would travel with my child to other states and other countries. There could be nothing better to broaden her horizons, to see how other people live, and be thankful for what we have!
I would love to travel to Alaska and go hiking and whale watching. The next would be to visit Paris and just spend days soaking up all Paris has to offer
If nothing stood in my way, I would buy up as much forest and land to use as a sanctuary for all creatures that are being displaced by land development. I’d also volunteer to care for as many of our local feral cat colonies as possible, making sure they had food and water daily. We have a trap-neuter-release program in place and it is slowly cutting down the feral cat population since there are fewer kittens being born in each colony.
I would have more energy to play with my grandchildren.
