Ingredients & Substitutions
- Light Whipped Topping – Keeps the dip light and fluffy. TruWhip or Light Cool Whip both work well.
- Fat-Free Vanilla Greek Yogurt – Adds creaminess and protein while keeping the dip light. Plain Greek yogurt plus a little extra vanilla works too.
- Vanilla Extract – Adds warmth and enhances the cookies-and-cream flavor.
- Pinch of Salt – Balances the sweetness and makes the chocolate flavor pop.
- Chocolate Graham Crackers – Crushed into fine crumbs for that familiar cookies-and-cream flavor. Chocolate wafer cookies, chocolate sandwich cookies (filling removed), or even regular graham crackers can also be used.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make this fruit dip ahead of time?
Yes! In fact, I think it’s even better after chilling for a few hours because it thickens slightly and the flavors blend together.
Can I use regular yogurt?
Greek yogurt gives the thickest, creamiest texture, but regular vanilla yogurt works if that’s what you have. The dip will simply be a little softer.
Can I use different cookies?
Absolutely. Chocolate wafer cookies, chocolate sandwich cookies, vanilla wafers, or cinnamon graham crackers all create delicious variations.
Is this only for fruit?
Not at all. While it’s wonderful with fresh fruit, it’s also delicious served with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, or biscotti.

I have graham crumbs, would you know how many tablespoons would be in the 2 crackers?
Thanks.
Hi Dee,
There would be about 1 heaping tablespoon of crumbs in the 2 crackers. Hope this helps. ~Martha
Do you have a substitute for the whipped topping? That’s not something you can buy in Australia.
Hi Devon, you can use whipped cream but it will change the WW Points. Hope this helps. ~Martha
Hi Martha,
I’m interested in buying your e-book bundle, and I read that it includes all the points for the different WW plans. How can I calculate for the old WW food exchanges ( fat, dairy, protein, breads, vegetables, fruit)
The old plan from 1989 Quick Success worked for me.
Sincerely,
V
Hi Vittoria, Here’s a link to a comprehensive food exchanges list that should help you convert your servings into exchanges: https://dtc.ucsf.edu/pdfs/FoodLists.pdf Hope it helps. ~Martha
Hear. Hear. I agree with Darlene and am also grateful that you still include points plus. Having tried all the subsequent plans, PP is the only one that has been successful for me and am back on that old friend and losing weight slowly but surely. And the cravings that developed while on the blue plan have now almost disappeared.
Thanks for everything you do, Martha. You’re just like an old friend holding my hand and helping me along the way
Thanks, Jane! Happy to help 🙂 I love having some many wonderful WW Pen Pals like you! It makes the journey so much more enjoyable. All the best. ~Martha
Thank You, Martha for including the OLD POINTS PLAN!
