What is Chocolate Hummus Made Of?
This chocolate brownie batter blender (affiliate link) hummus is made from just a handful of common ingredients – chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans), non dairy milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, sea salt and maple syrup.
How to Make Chocolate Brownie Batter Blender Hummus
Step 1: Gather and prepare all hummus ingredients.
Step 2: Add the chickpeas, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract and sea salt in a high-powered blender (affiliate link), or food processor (affiliate link) (I used my VitaMix (affiliate link)).

Blend until smooth – stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary.
Step 3: Add more milk (if necessary) to achieve desired texture and creaminess.

Step 4: Enjoy with your favorite fruit.

Step 5: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Recipe Notes
You may want to add more almond milk when blending to achieve your desired level of creaminess. It’s best to add the milk a little at a time, to avoid overdoing it and making it too runny.
