Ingredients
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces
- 1/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 slices cinnamon swirl raisin bread
- 1 pear (or apple, peach, etc.) pitted or cored
How to Make Cinnamon Raisin Toast with Honey-Walnut Yogurt Spread
Step 1: Gather and prepare all ingredients.

Step 2: In a small dry skillet, toast the walnuts over medium-high heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning, about 3-5 minutes.

Remove from heat and cool slightly before finely chopping.

Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, stir the toasted chopped walnuts, yogurt and honey until thoroughly combined.

Step 4: Cut the pear (or apple, peach, etc.) into 1/4-inch slices and toast the bread to desired level of doneness.

Step 5: Divide the yogurt mixture evenly and spread onto each slice of toast.

Top each piece with half the fruit slices.
