WW Recipe of the Day: Spice-Rubbed Shrimp Soft Tacos
My husband, Gary, loves tacos. He asks for them every week or two, so I'm always looking for new ways to change things up.
The traditional meat, cheese, lettuce, salsa staple can get pretty boring. Luckily there are endless options available to satisfy a taco craving. Beef, pork, turkey, chicken, fish or bean from vegetarian to paleo, tacos can work with any budget or meal plan.
Making Spiced Shrimp Tacos
To me tacos always feel like an indulgence, but in reality they can make a healthy low-carb high-protein meal. And they come together quickly, so they're convenient any time of day, even for breakfast.
This Weight Watcher recipe uses shrimp, so the tacos are low in fat and calories yet still zesty and full of flavor.
If you're looking for an interesting new twist, try adding a thin swipe of Boursin herb cheese spread to half the tortilla before adding the shrimp. Yum!
