Looking for an easy blonde brownies recipe that’s lower in fat and calories?

I’ve got you covered. Because this recipe uses melted butter, there’s no creaming of butter and sugar required, making them really easy to stir together.

And even though they’re lower in fat, they still bake up rich and chewy.

Delicious plain, I also love them with a few dark chocolate chips stirred in. Coconut, dried fruit and nuts are great too.

  1. 5 stars
I couldn’t find my recipe, so I tried yours. The only thing I did differently was to melt the butter and sugar together. I waited a few minute to cool before adding the flour mixture. I don’t like thick brownies, so I used a 9X13 pan, and set my timer for 20 minutes. They were soft, chewy and delicious!

  2. WOW! I made these dairy free easily substituting the butter w/ Earth Balance and the chocolate w/ Enjoy Life chocolate chips. It’s really hard to substitute caramels in recipes, and you already did this!
I’m taking this recipe to the chefs at Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise line next time I visit!
Thank you so much for posting!!! ยบoยบ

  3. I have a recipe for blonde brownies but can’t find. Was looking at this recipe and it’s pretty similar to the one I had. The only difference is I used soft butter instead of melted butter will this work for your brownies?

  4. i accidentally added the sugar to the flour before melting it into the butter!!! i already completed the brownie mix before i realized!!!!

  5. Mmmm, I love, love blondies! So good with both the butterscotch and chocolate chips. A bit of toasted pecans thrown in for good measure don’t hurt either. This recipe looks especially good and easy. Yum!
