Losing weight is a body, mind and spirit proposition. Eating right and moving more are important which is why I've shared tons of easy, healthy recipes and weight loss tips through the years. The mind and spirit are integral too which is why I collect and share motivational quotes. Words have power. I've learned that a steady supply of inspiring words are also essential to my success.
I love devotionals. I've been reading them daily for years and recently felt the call to begin sharing a weekly devotional specific to weight loss with you here. Reading the same devotional over and over every day for at least a week, until I have it committed to memory is powerful. The positive words soak into every part of my being refreshing me and giving me strength.
My hope and prayer is that they do the same for you.

My Weekly Weight Loss Devotional: Feeling Good
I feel good!
I feel good today! What an amazing transformation is taking place within me -- mentally, physically, and spiritually.
I breathe easier. Where before I may not have felt inclined to take part in much physical activity, I find that now I can walk farther and climb stairs more easily.
I have more energy. I want to do more, to get out and about more. The projects I have been delaying no longer seem to be overwhelming. With new strength and vigor, I am ready to do those things that I previously procrastinated doing.
I walk with new energy and enthusiasm, with a new sense of confidence in myself, because with the help of God, I have accomplished wonderful goals.
I am ready for new adventures. I know there is so much more that I can do, and as I set new goals, I trust God to show me the way to their fulfillment.
"A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance." ~ Proverbs 15:13
