The law of sowing and reaping works in every area of our lives, but today I would like you to think about it in regard to how you take care of your physical body. Are you sowing healthy habits so you will have good health now and in the years to come? I am quite sure that you want to be healthy and feel well, but you may not be aware of how necessary it is for you to make healthy choices daily in order to reap a healthy life.

I encourage you to eat food that is filled with good nutrition and avoid eating and drinking excessive amounts of sugar, caffeine, and chemical-laden, prepackaged options. Get good sleep, drink lots of clean water, and exercise regularly. You may have groaned when you read this and realized that doing so would require discipline and some lifestyle changes on your part; however, I can assure you that the benefits you will reap are well worth any sacrifice you make.
You only have one body, and if you take care of it, it will last a long time and help you enjoy your life. If you don’t take care of it, you will be sorry later on that you didn’t. Don’t wait until it is too late to do the right thing. Sow good health habits now and you will be strong, energetic, and enthusiastic about life.

Prayer: Father, help me make good health choices. Teach me how to take good care of myself so I will feel my best and serve You better.
