This slow cooker chocolate rice pudding is a follow up to the 2-Ingredient Crock Pot Chocolate Rice Pudding I made a couple weeks ago.
While it was good, I wanted to try to make one with richer, deeper chocolate flavor.
So, I decided to adapt this chocolate rice pudding recipe.
Still really easy with just a couple more ingredients, it was the rich and creamy deep chocolate slow cooker chocolate rice pudding I was hoping for.

Recipe Notes
The key to this crock pot chocolate rice pudding’s creaminess is short grain rice (arborio), which is what you use for risotto.
I used a combination of almond milk and evaporated skim milk, since that was what I had on hand. The calories are a bit lower (175 instead of 199), if you use all almond milk but not enough to change the Points.
