How to Make Baked Cheesy Ranch Chicken Bites
This is an easy 5-ingredient recipe that's sure to become a family favorite. It couldn't be simpler...
Step 1: Gather and prep your ingredients.
Step 2: Stir everything together, let marinate and then place on a foiled lined baking sheet (affiliate link).
Step 3: Bake until done, season with salt and pepper and enjoy.
Recipe Notes, Additions & Substitutions
The recipe calls for dry ranch dressing mix. If you prefer to make it yourself you can combine the following: ¼ cup dried buttermilk powder, 1-½ tablespoons onion powder, 1 tablespoon garlic power, ½ tablespoon dried chives, ½ tablespoon dried dill, ½ tablespoon dried parsley, 2 teaspoons kosher salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
I enjoyed my chicken bites alongside steamed green beans. Most any vegetable will be a great addition. Here are some of my favorite:
- Simple steamed broccoli
- Parmesan roasted asparagus
- Shredded zucchini casserole
- Roasted carrots a variety of ways
These delightful nuggets of chicken would also be wonderful atop a salad or stuffed into a sandwich wrap.
Ways to Use Ranch Chicken Leftovers
Since this recipe is designed to serve two, leftovers will be kept to a minimum. I liked to turn my leftovers into a Greek Chicken Bowl with rice, cucumbers, tomatoes and olives.

It doesn't look pretty, and there's a lot of liquid in the pan, but this was a winner tonight! So full of flavor (doesn't even need to be salted personally). I'm not even a fan of chicken and this is for sure going in the dinner rotation!
Glad you liked them Abby. I know what you mean about not being pretty. I'm with you. Some of the tastiest chicken I've ever made! ~Martha
