  1. My favorite cookbook is The Betty Crocker Cookbook. It’s my favorite because it’s the first one I received as a new bride and I’ve given my own daughters one when they moved into their own places. I will continue the tradition with my grandchildren.

  2. I have about 20 cookbooks in my kitchen. My favorite is the internet because you will find so many variations of one dish. I like choosing the one the fits my families needs and likes.

  3. It’s hard to pick a favorite cookbook but today I’m picking A Taste of Oregon. The book was given to me by my mother-in-law almost 50 year’s ago. It has many of our family favorites in it. And, of course, I love Martha’s healthy, quick and easy recipes! Thanks for all the help and support you give us!

  4. My favorite cookbook is one that I have made. I use a three ring binder with dividers As I try recipes that I like I print off and slip intoprotective pocket sheets and add to my binders. I also create a file on my computer with all my favorite recipes.

  5. I don’t have any one favorite, but my favorites are the local cookbooks from the Volunteer Fire Departments, Schools, and Churches….I enjoy seeing the “special” recipes for whatever area.

  6. My favorite cookbook is The Silver Palate cookbook. It has great information on cooking grains, beans, and many other foods. My second favorite cookbook is Allrecipes online. I like to read the comment and change the recipes.
I never cook a recipe as it is written. I always tweak it in some way.

  7. My favorite cookbook is one I received for a wedding gift in 1984 from my brother – The Betty Crocker cookbook. It is so full of information for a new wife who never cooked a day in her life!!!! I still use it and wish I could get a couple more of the old ones to give my daughters! The cover finally fell off, but it’s still the best!

  8. I have a copy of The JOY of Cooking. This is a great cookbook for anything and everything. A great resource for using different cooking techniques.
