  1. I have many cookbooks that I use but the one I always return to for basic cooking instructions etc. is a Five Roses cookbook given to me as a gift when I got married back in 1972. An oldie but goodie as they say. It covers a large range of cooking which includes Foreign Fare….I always use the basic Chinese spareribs recipe and the chicken chop suey and I also frequently use the butter tart recipe.

  2. I usually use the cookpad app these days as I input all my favorite go to recipes and they are so nicely organized and handy but I still have a soft spot for my first Betty Crocker cookbook from my Grandma complete with all her dog eared pages, drips on her most used recipes and the special little handwritten notes in the columns!

  3. Pinterest! I know it’s not an official book, but I can find anything I’m looking for there. Including your wonderful site.
Thank you so much for all you’re doing!

  4. My favorite cookbook was given to me by my mother before I got married. It has all of the recipes she used raising her eight children. Priceless!

  5. October 25th. 2018….. Love seeing your emails drop in. Your recipes are the best, I have never eaten so well. Hearing so much about these pots would early love to have one. Thank you Martha i look forward to you popping up tomorrow on my screen. Thanks a bunch, Donna

  6. I need to loose 100 pounds before I can have knee surgery. I have a 6qt instant pot but don’t use it since my husband past away because I feel it is too big to use for just one person. I would love to have the 3 qt size because I feel that would be the perfect size for me to cook with and not have a lot of left over food so that I eat more then I should. Also, I never know when I am going to be hungry and so many days I don’t eat dinner because it would take me to long to cook a meal.

  7. I enrolled in Weight Watchers and this site is really helpful! An instant pot would help me make family meals while I’m at work so I don’t have to start from scratch when I get home and there’s so many low-point recipes!

  8. I basically use the internet now to get recipes and ideas but have a couple of Southern Living cookbooks I go to a lot.

  9. My favorites are the ones that are made as a fundraiser for schools, churches etc. they have the best recipes. I search the website for many recipes as well and really enjoy your recipes.
