Slimming Bites: Inspiration & Recipes for Weight Watchers
Encouragement and inspiration are critical whenever you’re trying to change your habits. This is especially true when the habits involve eating better, losing weight and creating a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Sticking with the slow and steady sensible balanced approach to lasting change can seem dull and out of step when compared with our society’s obsession with the opposing messages of overindulgent excess on one hand, and extreme fad diets on the other.
My mission is to provide you with a constant supply of motivating articles and enticing Weight Watchers friendly recipes to encourage your pursuit of a happy, healthy, balanced life. Here are this week’s hand-picked selections. I hope you find the time and space to sit down, perhaps with a cup of coffee or tea, or glass of wine or bubbly water, and savor them!

6/7/16 GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED!
The winner of the Essential Oils Package is: Maggie, who said, “The easiest thing for me is all of the websites and blogs available for me to use to keep me on track and to give me inspiration for recipes and meal planning. The hardest part for me is when we are on vacation and friends don’t eat as healthy as we do. Always try to do my best but it is challenging when fatty meats and lots of carbs are served at every meal.”

1. These days it’s easy to find a great variety of healthy, fresh foods, and recipes for healthy living.
2. It’s hard for me to get motivated to exercise as often as I should.
Easiest is that I love vegetables, so I have veggie omelets, baked potatoes, sandwiches etc. and I love them all. Hardest is cutting down on desserts, which I love. I try to substitute fruit so I still have that “sweet” taste.
The easiest thing about my healthy eating journey is finding wonderful new veggies and fruits available now in stores. I love trying things I’ve never had before. I’ve lost 76 lbs in the past year and the hardest thing is not eating too much of those same foods that I find so delicious!
The easiest part of this healthy lifestyle is the abundance of fresh, healthy foods available.
The hardest part is getting myself motivated to exercise regularly. I am losing weight without it but I know that I would feel so much better and be a smaller size with regular exercise.
I find following the Weight Watcher plan the easiest. Everything you need is on the phone app and you always have your phone with you. The hardest is exercising. New activities start out fun because they are new but then eventually they become boring or a chore.
1) Easiest-having a great support system for encouragement or when despair enters into the realm of failure or wanting to wave the red flag. All the different blogs, Facebook, WW connect, recipe makeovers and partners on the same journey makes this more manageable.
2) The hardest is being out of my surroundings where I can control what foods come into my space. Family gatherings and dining out are the hardest for me because of the temptation.
The easiest is all the helpful info on web sites like yours and snack girl, hungry girl, skinny kitchen etc. The hardest is the fact that I do not like many fruits and vegetables and I’m a carb-a-holic.
Easiest is knowing I am doing this for me! I remind myself each day that I am getting healthier. My challenge is the fact that I find it hard to find recipes for 1 or 2 servings. I live alone and I find that generally recipes are for 6 -8 servings which means I am eating it all week!
The easiest would have to be the tremendous variety of fruits and veggies available for healthy eating.
The most challenging would be finding the motivation and time to exercise regularly. Additionally, sweets like cookies and ice cream are difficult for me to steer clear of. I need more will power!
1. easiest is not having to prepare fresh fruits this time of year
2. challenging is the high points of sugar. I feel deprived and go on binges.
