I love homemade granola so much more than store bought, but I am lazy, don’t always want to make a big batch and don’t always want to go through the hassle of preheating the oven and waiting for it to bake.

That’s where this crunchy air fryer granola comes in. It mixes together quickly while your air fryer preheats and cooks quickly thanks to the compact nature of air fryers.

The very first recipe in my new Cosori TurboBlaze™, this crunchy Toasted Oat Granola was cooling in just about 15 minutes after starting.

Recipe Notes

When using any oil in an air fryer, it will help give the food a crispier texture, as the coconut oil helped out in this toasted oat granola. You could always substitute olive oil or avocado oil for the coconut oil.

Try agave syrup, date syrup or honey in place of the pure maple syrup. Substitute an equal amount of nuts for the chopped almonds (walnuts, pecans, cashews, peanuts, etc).

To make this granola gluten-free, be sure to use rolled oats that are marked as gluten-free.

Ways to Use Leftovers

Store any leftover granola in an airtight container at room temperature. This crunchy granola makes a great topping for smoothie bowls, yogurt, light ice cream or frozen yogurt.
