80 Calorie Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Ingredients
- Halo Top Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Light Cookie Mix (affiliate link)
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons water
Light Cookie Mix Ingredients:
- Allulose
- Modified Wheat Starch
- Chocolate Chips
- Peanut Butter
- Polydextrose
- Enriched Flour Bleached
- Erythritol
- Powdered Cellulose
- Sugar
What is allulose?
According to the Cleveland Clinic, allulose is a naturally occurring sugar found in figs, raisins, wheat, maple syrup and molasses. It is sweet like table sugar but without some of sugar’s well-documented downsides. It has no effect on insulin, it is low in calories, tastes like regular sugar and is considered safe by the FDA.
How to Make Light Halo Top Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Step 1: Gather and prepare all ingredients.

Step 2: Preheat oven to 375F degrees (or 350F degrees for nonstick cookie sheet).
Step 3: Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat or in microwave (affiliate link) in a small microwave-safe bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes to cool. (Butter needs to cool so chocolate chips don’t melt.)
Step 4: In a medium bowl, stir together cookie mix, cooled melted butte and water until dough forms (dough will be stiff).

Step 5: Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (Alternatively, line cookie sheet with parchment paper.)

Step 6: Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until edges are set and tops turn golden.

Step 7: Allow cookies to cool for 2 minutes on sheet pan before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

Step 8: Store cookies in an airtight container.

Recipe Notes
I found this light cookie mix in my local Albertson’s, near all the other dry cookie mixes. You can also find Halo Top Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Light Cookie Mix (affiliate link) on Amazon.
Serving Suggestions
If you pull your cookies from the oven just as they are set and begin to turn golden, you will end up with soft and chewy cookies—my personal favorite. They pair well with any flavor Halo Top Ice Cream, like Vanilla Bean or Chocolate, but go especially well with Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream.
Ways to Use Leftovers
Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container.
