WW Recipe of the Day: Crock Pot Mint Hot Chocolate Malt
I am having so much fun making hot drinks in my crock pot this winter. It is so much cheaper than buying them at the coffee shop. And the mixture stays warm in the crock pot for hours, so I can enjoy it a little bit at a time throughout the morning.
As a result, my little 1-1/2-Quart crock pot has taken up permanent residence on my counter.
Who needs an uber-expensive espresso maker when you’ve got a crock pot?
Right now I am sipping on the most delicious slow cooker decaf coconut milk gingerbread latte that I promise to post soon, as I write about the crock pot mint hot chocolate malt I enjoyed earlier this week. (Talk about a wonderful life!)
I hadn’t thought about malted milk powder for years till I came across a recipe for hot mint malt in Mable Hoffman’s Crockery Cookery (affiliate link), Revised Edition.

Truthfully, I think I just used this recipe as an excuse to buy a bag of what has always been one of my favorite candies: York peppermint patties!
And yes, it was as delicious as it sounds, if you’re a lover of mint hot chocolate, like I am.
