I love indulging in pumpkin flavored drinks, especially at this time of year.

Unfortunately they can be full of calories and fat.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer to minimize the calories I drink as much as I can. It’s possible when you make your own pumpkin drinks at home.

In addition to being low in calories and high in fiber, canned pumpkin is loaded with important nutrients including potassium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin C.

  • ¾ cup light vanilla soy milk or almond milk
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup Cool Whip Free, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free calorie-free vanilla syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, or more to taste
  • 2 no-calorie sweetener packets
  • 6 to 8 ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Fat-Free Reddi-wip
  • ½ sheet (2 sections) low-fat honey graham crackers, crushed
  1. Place milk, pumpkin, Cool-Whip, vanilla syrup, cinnamon, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, sweetener and ice cubes in a blender. Blend at high speed until thoroughly mixed and thick.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass. Taste and add additional pumpkin pie spice if desired. Top with Reddi-wip and graham crackers.
