The winner of the InstantPot is Doris B. who said…
- I do not own an instant pot, but have so many recipes that I would like to try. It would be nice to own one.
- I would love to get something on the table fast because I rarely make anything that takes too long. With an instant pot I would be able to try some things that I would not do the traditional way.
- Tonight, I am making chicken fried steak according to Marlene Koch. It is WW friendly, but time consuming, but it is one of my husband’s favorites.
Congratulations Doris. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your Instant Pot!
Confession: I still haven’t learned to use my instant pot (affiliate link) with regularity. So I’ve decided to devote what remains of 2020 to overcoming my resistance with a Challenge!
It’s been nearly two years since I assembled this list of 50 WW Friendly Instant Pot Recipes in response to requests from readers. At the time I admitted that while I have an Instant Pot, I used it mostly for it’s saute and slow cook functions. I promised myself I would learn to use all its other functions, especially pressure cooking.
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve made virtually no progress. I know it would make life easier, especially with meal prep. But what they say is: A goal without a plan is just a wish.
So, I’ve decided to take the Tiny Habits: The Small Changes That Change Everything (affiliate link) approach: I’m setting teeny tiny goal(s) for myself.
Tiny Habits Instant Pot Challenge
- Learn something new about the Instant Pot every day (right after I read my morning devotional) and record it here on My Getting Started with the Instant Pot Success Guide.
- Use my Instant Pot once a week (Sunday afternoons) and share the recipe on Simple Nourished Living.
- Celebrate these accomplishments.
To kick things off I’m giving away the Instant Pot (affiliate link) Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker I purchased several years ago:

The versatility of this 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker (affiliate link), Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Maker and Warmer really seems amazing…

1) I want an Insta Por to make week night meals easier & quicker.
2)We have been trying to accomplish a home remodel with very little progress.
3)Last nights dinner: Rib Eye Steaks, sweet potato, asparagus and a garden salad.
I’ve really been wanting to get better at planning out my meals and meal prepping, but it’s been a constant struggle for me. I truly feel like an instant pot would help me a lot with this. I ate Publix fried chicken last night for dinner because I didn’t have anything planned out and felt guilty after because I should’ve eaten something healthier instead. The struggle is real. Thanks so much for the chance!
I’ve been seriously considering buying an instant pot for some time. I have a slow cooker that I use alot, also a pressure cooker I’ve used for years and of course a rice cooker that I’ve used for years. It would be awesome to have one appliance that could do the work of 3 plus other tasks if it can do all of these things well! Would love to give the instant pot a shot at residing in my kitchen.
My husband , who is an insulin dependent diabetic, just has been diagnosed with heart , kidney and liver issues. They gave me 3 different diets to mesh to help improve his health, I think this may help him adjust to a whole different way of eating and nutrition!!!
1. I’d love to use the pressure cooker function in an insta pot. I’d like to try the yogurt making feature, too!
2. I’m having trouble losing my last 5 lbs. I’d like to get in the habit of drinking more water, also.
3. Last nights dinner was white bean and cabbage soup with a side salad.
Thanks for offering a giveaway!
1. I would like to make meals faster when short on time rather than eating out. That would save us money.
2. I would like to make my own yogurt.
3. I had a chef’s salad. (At home)
It sounds like an instant pot would help me cook food in a healthier way . I can not afford to buy one but would love to win one . I love cooking and exploring new healthier recipes for my husband and I to enjoy .
Been wanting to try it’s just the two of us need instant fix
I believe an Instant Pot would be a great way to get a good meal on the table when life gets busy. We all have busy lives and sometimes that means dinner prep suffers,
I would like to be creative everyday. In what I cook, in what I do.
Last night we had Italian Wedding Soup and homemade bread.
I would love to be able to learn how to make great WW meals for me and my family.
