The winner of the InstantPot is Doris B. who said…
- I do not own an instant pot, but have so many recipes that I would like to try. It would be nice to own one.
- I would love to get something on the table fast because I rarely make anything that takes too long. With an instant pot I would be able to try some things that I would not do the traditional way.
- Tonight, I am making chicken fried steak according to Marlene Koch. It is WW friendly, but time consuming, but it is one of my husband’s favorites.
Congratulations Doris. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your Instant Pot!
Confession: I still haven’t learned to use my instant pot (affiliate link) with regularity. So I’ve decided to devote what remains of 2020 to overcoming my resistance with a Challenge!
It’s been nearly two years since I assembled this list of 50 WW Friendly Instant Pot Recipes in response to requests from readers. At the time I admitted that while I have an Instant Pot, I used it mostly for it’s saute and slow cook functions. I promised myself I would learn to use all its other functions, especially pressure cooking.
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve made virtually no progress. I know it would make life easier, especially with meal prep. But what they say is: A goal without a plan is just a wish.
So, I’ve decided to take the Tiny Habits: The Small Changes That Change Everything (affiliate link) approach: I’m setting teeny tiny goal(s) for myself.
Tiny Habits Instant Pot Challenge
- Learn something new about the Instant Pot every day (right after I read my morning devotional) and record it here on My Getting Started with the Instant Pot Success Guide.
- Use my Instant Pot once a week (Sunday afternoons) and share the recipe on Simple Nourished Living.
- Celebrate these accomplishments.
To kick things off I’m giving away the Instant Pot (affiliate link) Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker I purchased several years ago:

The versatility of this 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker (affiliate link), Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Maker and Warmer really seems amazing…

Good Luck!

I would love to win an insta pot. My family and friends all have them and the recipes look yummy. I would love to cook more WW meals at home and the Insta pot would be a great tool. Last nights dinner was left over turkey casserole. Thank you lsimmons46@icloud.com
1. I think the InstaPot would really be great. I live alone and hate having to heat my oven and dirty a lot of dishes.
2. I’m challenging myself to more veggies and whole grins to try and reduce my processed food intake
3. I had turkey meatballs and veggie pasta
I love your site and all of your recipes that I’ve tried have been good! I also love my instant pot. I’ve had one several years, and have been wanting another one so that I can prepare two dishes at once. I use the one I have 4 or 5 times per week and have thought of how handy it would be to have another one to prepare a side dish in while cooking a main dish. Winning one would fulfill that wish!
1. I would like to try an instant pot to see if it will save me time in my meal prep and help to get me organized with my WW journey. I used a pressure cooker years ago when I was a newlywed and think this device might take me back to those early years.
2. I have been doing WW ( this time) since August 2018. I am down 38 lbs but am stalled and need motivation to reset my course.
3. Last night dinner was out with friend. Had baked Haddock, green beans and baked sweet potato.
1. I would like to spend as little time as possible to feed my family nutritious foods.
2. I would like to plan our meals with consistency.
3. Salmon and risotto.
