The winner of the InstantPot is Doris B. who said…
- I do not own an instant pot, but have so many recipes that I would like to try. It would be nice to own one.
- I would love to get something on the table fast because I rarely make anything that takes too long. With an instant pot I would be able to try some things that I would not do the traditional way.
- Tonight, I am making chicken fried steak according to Marlene Koch. It is WW friendly, but time consuming, but it is one of my husband’s favorites.
Congratulations Doris. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your Instant Pot!
Confession: I still haven’t learned to use my instant pot (affiliate link) with regularity. So I’ve decided to devote what remains of 2020 to overcoming my resistance with a Challenge!
It’s been nearly two years since I assembled this list of 50 WW Friendly Instant Pot Recipes in response to requests from readers. At the time I admitted that while I have an Instant Pot, I used it mostly for it’s saute and slow cook functions. I promised myself I would learn to use all its other functions, especially pressure cooking.
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve made virtually no progress. I know it would make life easier, especially with meal prep. But what they say is: A goal without a plan is just a wish.
So, I’ve decided to take the Tiny Habits: The Small Changes That Change Everything (affiliate link) approach: I’m setting teeny tiny goal(s) for myself.
Tiny Habits Instant Pot Challenge
- Learn something new about the Instant Pot every day (right after I read my morning devotional) and record it here on My Getting Started with the Instant Pot Success Guide.
- Use my Instant Pot once a week (Sunday afternoons) and share the recipe on Simple Nourished Living.
- Celebrate these accomplishments.
To kick things off I’m giving away the Instant Pot (affiliate link) Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker I purchased several years ago:

The versatility of this 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker (affiliate link), Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Maker and Warmer really seems amazing…

Smoked chicken and salad.
I would love an instant pot because everyone at my WW meetings are saying how much they like theirs and how easy it is to get quick meals on the table.
I want to start prepping a few meals for the week, but I just can’t seem to get started.
I had homemade WW soup (no meat) and light chicken salad spread in a wrap.
I have an old Instant Pot that I have used constantly since I got it in 2015 and the lid no longer seals well so half the time it doesn’t work; I cannot afford a new one right now so it would be awesome to win one. I would use it a lot because when I am not at work, I am in school and I have 2 teenagers that eat more than I can cook. 🙂 I would like to accomplish meal prep once a week or freezer, Instant Pot meals for a month.
Last night we had tomato basil soup with garlic cheesy toasted ciabatta rolls.
My son let me use his for awhile. Now he wants it back. I really enjoyed learning how to use it.
I would love to have an instant pot to cook healthy WW recipes fast! I’ve been wanting one for so long but being a stay at home mom do not have the means to spend the extra right now. I am also saving up for my wedding next February, another reason I’m on WW to lose weight before the big day! I want to make WW a lifestyle change not just a fad diet which have not been successful in the past. Last night for dinner I made panko crusted chicken tenders and homemade sweet potato fries.
1. I work fulltime and care for my mom and grandchildren. When I get home I don’t have enough time to cook a healthy meal and usually end up eating something quick like a yogurt or a piece of fruit.
2. After changing my lifestyle of eating instead of being on a diet. I look forward to always trying new recipes. I’m now excited to reach my goal weight.
3. I got home late last night and ate some fruit.
I would love the Instant pot to decrease meal prep and hands on cooking time. I cook healthy dishes for friends and family members to allow them more time for family.
I’m making no progress on my healthy lifestyle with increasing exercise and decreasing the amount of carbs and sweets i consume. Last night’s dinner was broccoli cauliflower soup and raw veggies. I spoiled the meal by finishing it off with a lot of chocolate ice cream.
I am very recently single and facing the challenge of cooking for one. I have heard such wonderful things about InstaPot and food prep. I really believe it would help me to manage my menus for every thing from lunches to bring to work, to having dinner ready when I get home. I am hoping it will keep me from having toast and peanut butter for dinner so often. I had been doing quite well on WW and lost 35lbs in 5 months and since the divorce have regained at least 20 of them. Dinner last night was pasta with sauce and chicken thighs. I will be keeping my fingers crossed! Thank you Martha, for always being a word of encouragement.
