Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

  1. I LOVE SMOOTHIES TO. I WILL BE EATING MINE WITH A SPOON FOR NOT POINTS. THEY ARE SO REFRESHING AND MAKES ME THINK OF SUMMER IN THE BEST WAY AND EATING HEALTY IS ALWAYS A PLUS!!!

  2. Love putting up all the summer fruits and veges to have when Fall comes knocking. Those days will be here sooner than later. A nice vegetable soup and cornbread will be most welcomed that first chill in the air !

  3. What I love best about summer is Salads- I can eat a different one everyday of the month and never repeat a recipe! An excellent way of eating more veggies in your diet, especially those “home-grown tomatoes!” My gardens have reduced in size since I got older but will never not have my maters!

  4. Using my air fryer more for healthier eating and avoiding heating up the house. A good blender makes it easier to chop those in season veggies sneaked into foods to get my HUSBAND to eat them !

  5. I love smoothies – have been using a hand held emulsion blender – ninja would be so much better

  6. After a long winter, it’s a time to relax and get outside and enjoy the warm breezes, the sunshine and the cool waters!

  7. I love summer as it is the best time for local fresh fruits and vegetables. The assortment and variety of recipes is vast. A new blender would be perfect

  8. I also love my smoothies , I use plain nonfat Greek yogurt, frozen fruit ,and ice. I blend it all together and make it it frozen and thick and dig in with a spoon . Our WWleader said that if you can eat it with a spoon..no points !!!
