Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

  1. I love summer because I get spend more time with my boys and we don’t have to get up so early!

  2. Feeling alive and free, the freshness of fruits and veggies. The sunshine and long nights. The feeling of wanting to take care of yourself.

  3. I love that everyone gets outside and seems to be happier living in Ontario Canada the cold weather make people grumpier as more and more winter months goes by

  4. What I love most about summer is the smell of rain, getting dirty in the garden, the Dunes, feeling the sun on my skin, BBQ’s and living a simple, non scheduled day with my kids!

  5. The fresh fruits and vegetables. Cooking on the grill. Watching kids run through the sprinkler and remembering that pleasure and freedom.

  6. I love summer and spending time with my family and my three
    grandsons! They are lovers of fruit and that helps me on my
    Weight Watchers plan. I would love a Ninja so I could teach
    them how to make healthy smoothies. Fun and healthy for
    them and me !!!

  7. I love the summertime sunshine… it’s hard to be in a bad mood when everything is so vibrant and full of life. Between the outdoor activities and the delicious fruits and vegetables, it’s much easier to lead a healthier lifestyle.
