The winner of the Ninja blender (affiliate link) is: Sherri Terry

Congratulations, Sherri. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your blender (affiliate link)!

Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

To enter, just leave a comment below answering the question, “What do you love most about summer?”

One random winner will be selected and announced Sunday morning!

Good Luck!

  1. I love WATERMELON! In fact, I’m in charge of the Grand Bay Watermelon Festival in Grand Bay, AL. We are known for our sweet, sweet watermelons. And I love all of the things you can make with watermelons, from smoothies to ice pops and more.

  2. I love the colors of Summer. Bright flowers in pots and hanging baskets, the deep green of trees and grass, the blue of water in a swimming pool, and reds, yellows and greens of garden vegetables and fruits. It’s a constant feast for the eyes.

  3. I love that everything is so colorful. The fruits and vegetables, the trees and flowers, the beautiful blue skies. God’s creation is something to behold.

  4. I love summer because of the sunshine almost everyday. The flowers nodding their heads in my garden, the sounds of children playing in a pool, and the sight of fireflies in the evening.

  5. Summer in Florida is a time when some of our friends and relatives visit us during their vacations and enjoy the pleasures we enjoy year round, including the various foods, fruits and vegetables. Your recipes fill a gap for those who visit and need a lighter menu during the hot weather and the various activities which require lighter menus.
