  1. I have many but my most favorite is my Betty Crocker cookbook. It has so many great recipes in it. But I do wish I had a cookbook that has much healthier recipe choices to choose from.

  2. One of my favorite cookbooks is a collect of recipes from my mother, grandmother and aunts. They are all gone but the love and memories are felt every time a make a recipe.

  3. In the late 1960’s, I was a newlywed, and my husband was stationed at Vandenberg AFB in CA. My cooking skills were extremely limited, to say the least . Someone on base (probably a fellow teacher) was selling cookbooks compiled by USAF officers’ wives from bases all over the world, and I purchased one. It became my “paperback culinary advisor.” I had no idea that ground beef, a staple at the commissary, could be used so creatively. It was inspiring to see the many herbs and spices these women used to create flavors I’d never experienced (I was raised on basic midwestern fare, in which the primary spices were salt and pepper.) I wonder how many of these women lost their spouses in Vietnam, as these were the days when so many were sent to battle. Many of the contributors are themselves long gone….but their recipes survive in my kitchen and probably in many others.

  4. There is a Weight Watcher slow cooker cook book that is my gi fo especially when I can’t decide what to cook.
Several of the recipes are now, for lack of a better word, “comfort food”

  5. I don’t really have a favorite cookbook, but I use the internet a lot and bookmark the recipes I like and use.

  6. My absolute favourite cook book is the BandMothers cookbook from 1975,Sykeston ND. It was made as a fundraiser.Recipes were submitted for this book from the towns residents. At that time approximately 150 children were in K-12 grade. All the recipes are easy to cook, homestyle and speak to the German,Norwegian heritage of the town that used to have almost 300 people. Now dwindled to a little over 120,the school has closed. My book is being held together with tape.I have heard so many people state when visiting”wish we could get another cookbook”,as many of the people who gave these recipes have died.

  7. My recipe book pretty much consists of a collection of recipes that I have acquired over the years. Each recipe has its own special meaning and I love everyone of them.

  8. My favorite cookbook is my first cook book that I received as a gift from my mother while I was in High School. “The all New Fannie Farmer Boston Cooking School Cookbook”. I lost my mom when I was just a young mother, and I could not call her with every little question, so I grabbed my book for help. Has been my friend for 50 + years, torn pages and all.

  9. I don’t have a favorite because I use the online WW recipes and after I have made a WW recipe that I like I save the printed page into my own notebook, so I guess my own WW notebook recipe book is my favorite . My favorite recipe is the turkey chili.
