Why Eggs Make a Smart Breakfast

Starting your day with protein—especially eggs—can help you feel satisfied longer and may reduce overall calorie intake throughout the day.

For years, eggs got a bad reputation because of cholesterol concerns. But we now know that dietary cholesterol has far less impact on blood cholesterol than once believed. Eggs are actually a nutrient-dense, low-calorie source of protein, along with key nutrients like B vitamins and choline.

If you’ve ever had a breakfast that left you hungry an hour later, you’ve probably felt the difference already.

I eat eggs for breakfast every day. Yes, I usually eat just liquid egg whites, but they’re still eggs. ๐Ÿ™‚ I don’t know what I’d do without the protein. Starve, I assume!
