This sweet and spicy goat cheese spread is a new favorite. It’s easy to make with just a few ingredients. Hits all the right flavors—subtly sweet, spicy and salty.

And makes a small amount (about 10 tablespoons or a little more than half a cup) which is important if you lack self control with certain foods the way I do.

Peter served it as an appetizer spread on toasted baguette topped with thin slices of prosciutto, when we got together for dinner Saturday night. I couldn’t stay out of it and immediately wanted the recipe, which he happily provided.

I liked this sweet and spicy dip so much I made it again yesterday. Spread on little gluten-free nut and rice crackers, it was perfect with a glass of champagne to celebrate Rod’s birthday before heading out for dinner at one of our favorite spots.
