This month let’s bring gratitude to the forefront of our minds. In troubling times it can be all too easy to become overwhelmed by negativity, fear and worry.
Fortunately turning our thoughts to what we have to be thankful for, focusing on the positive, seeking the silver lining, keeping the faith, is an effective ways to brighten the darkest moods with proven health benefits to boot.

Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost any money and it certainly doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.

I am grateful for the ability to stay safe at home!
I am thankful for my salvation through our Savior, Jesus Christ who gave his life so that we may live. He chose to wash away our sins with his own blood. Having faith is what I’m thankful for each day when I wake up. I may need a reminder, he is the reason this is possible. Thank you God for allowing me to be a Christian in today’s world.
I am thankful for social media which allows us to be able to connect with those who are important to us.
I have been thankful for Zoom (and other similar programs) that has enabled us to do business and connect with those who need to make decisions and just to stay connected.
I am thankful for daily humor–no matter how it comes. Laughter is healthy and keeps us upbeat.
I am thankful that my Church allows us to worship from home with various technical programs.
I am thankful for grocery deliveries as I am in the older senior group and have not been out of my house for a month.
I am grateful for all the law enforcement officers that put their lives on the line every day as part of their job. They are always there when we need them and make our world a better place.
I am grateful everyday to have good health, a roof over my head, a loving husband, food on the table and family and friends to check on us and for me to check on them. So many do not have any or even part of the above.
