How to Make Quinoa in the InstantPot

Step 1: Gather and prepare all ingredients.

Step 2: Add the quinoa, salt, water and lime zest/juice (if using) to the InstantPot.

Step 3: Close and lock the lid in sealed position.

Press Manual button and then use the +/- buttons to select 1 minute pressure cooking time.

Step 4: When the time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.

Step 5: Fluff quinoa with a fork and enjoy warm, at room temperature or chilled.

Recipe Notes

To help prevent your pressure cooker quinoa from getting mushy, be sure to measure the liquid to quinoa ratio accurately.

  • 1 cup quinoa, thorougly rinsed
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1 lime, zested and squeezed (optional, but highly recommended)

    Being overweight is such a horrible feeling and everyone wants to get rid of it. Always better to know about foods and active lifestyle that’ll make it easier to lose weight on your own before extreme measures. This is what I used to lose all my weight and I am happy now.
