My favorite summertime sweet treat is grasshopper pie. My birthday’s in July and that was always what I asked for as a birthday cake growing up. But I’ll settle for a mint chip ice cream sandwich in a pinch.
As far as healthy habits go…one of my “danger zones” is snacking as a make dinner. I typically let myself get too hungry and end up putting things into my mouth that are easy to grab (cheese, olives, chips) even before I’ve eaten. Now that I’ve started WW Freestyle, I reach for garbanzo beans (my favorite!) or edamame or fruit to tide me over as I’m cooking.
