Weight Watchers Friendly Meal Plan #29 {Meal Planning Mommies}
This grilling meal plan incorporates 6 dinner entrees perfect for a cookout. If you don't have an outdoor grill, all of these recipes can also be cooked inside on an indoor grill pan (affiliate link) or frying pan, so this meal plan is for everyone.
For this weeks full meal plan with a free printable grocery list you can go here.
A couple of things worth mentioning with this meal plan:
Make the BBQ Nuggets into BBQ Tenders.
When I cooked up the BBQ nuggets I did them in my indoor grill pan (affiliate link). If you are using an outside grill simply cut the chicken into chicken strips or tenders. All of the other recipes should work well on a traditional outdoor grill without modification.
Looking for side dishes to go with your grilling entrees?
A couple of days ago we shared some summer side dishes and salads. If you are looking for something to go with the meat in this meal plan, check out the recipes on this list that are between 3-6 WW smart points per serving.
This meal plan wraps up our grilling inspiration week. If you are looking for more main entrees that can be cooked on the grill you might also like our list of 14 Weight Watchers friendly grilling recipes that was shared a few days ago.
Here are the recipes you will be enjoying with this week's meal plan:
Makes 6 servings.
6 WW SP per serving.
All you need is four ingredients for this recipe, one of them being the chicken! I chose to marinate my chicken overnight. If you forget to marinate the chicken you can also grill the chicken and serve the honey mustard sauce on the side.
Makes 4 servings.
6 WW SP per serving.
This recipe uses quite a bit ground peppercorn, making it similar to what you could find at a steakhouse, but you can ease up on the peppercorn if you feel that the spices would be a little strong for your liking.
Makes 4 burgers.
7 WW SP per burger.
You can grill the turkey burgers and the turkey bacon for these Monterey Jack Turkey Burgers on your outside grill. Using slimwiches in place of buns keeps the smart points down on these burgers, but you could use traditional hamburger buns or light buns if you are not a fan of slimwiches.
Grilled Chicken Nuggets with Homemade BBQ Sauce
Makes 8 servings.
4 WW SP per serving.
Obviously, small chunks of meat are hard to work with on a grill. When you make this delicious barbecue chicken recipe on an outside grill, you will just want to cut larger pieces of chicken that are a similar thickness.
Makes 4 burgers.
10 WW SP per burger.
These chicken burgers have a little bit of a kick to them. If you like buffalo chicken you will definitely want to give these puppies a try. Not into spicy food? No problem. Just eliminate (or use less of) the hot sauce.
Makes 8 servings.
4 WW SP per serving.
Along with the honey mustard grilled chicken, this is probably one of the easiest recipes on MPM. It uses mostly ingredients you would already have in your kitchen, making it easy to pull together. This recipe makes 8 servings but all of the ingredients could be very easily halved if you are just wanting to make 4 servings.
