The winner of the InstantPot is Doris B. who said…
- I do not own an instant pot, but have so many recipes that I would like to try. It would be nice to own one.
- I would love to get something on the table fast because I rarely make anything that takes too long. With an instant pot I would be able to try some things that I would not do the traditional way.
- Tonight, I am making chicken fried steak according to Marlene Koch. It is WW friendly, but time consuming, but it is one of my husband’s favorites.
Congratulations Doris. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your Instant Pot!
Confession: I still haven’t learned to use my instant pot (affiliate link) with regularity. So I’ve decided to devote what remains of 2020 to overcoming my resistance with a Challenge!
It’s been nearly two years since I assembled this list of 50 WW Friendly Instant Pot Recipes in response to requests from readers. At the time I admitted that while I have an Instant Pot, I used it mostly for it’s saute and slow cook functions. I promised myself I would learn to use all its other functions, especially pressure cooking.
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve made virtually no progress. I know it would make life easier, especially with meal prep. But what they say is: A goal without a plan is just a wish.
So, I’ve decided to take the Tiny Habits: The Small Changes That Change Everything (affiliate link) approach: I’m setting teeny tiny goal(s) for myself.
Tiny Habits Instant Pot Challenge
- Learn something new about the Instant Pot every day (right after I read my morning devotional) and record it here on My Getting Started with the Instant Pot Success Guide.
- Use my Instant Pot once a week (Sunday afternoons) and share the recipe on Simple Nourished Living.
- Celebrate these accomplishments.
To kick things off I’m giving away the Instant Pot (affiliate link) Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker I purchased several years ago:

The versatility of this 7-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker (affiliate link), Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Maker and Warmer really seems amazing…

Good Luck!

I’d like an instant pot because I’d like to try out some of the delicious looking recipes I see on social media that have been made with one.
I’ve been going to clean out this junked up house and have a big yard sale when weather permits. This has been my plan for several years! I could certainly use the money and the space freed up by ridding myself of this “stuff”.
We had pork chops and assorted veggies for supper last night that wasn’t that good.
I don’t have an Instant Pot but I did pick up a used multi cooker & have prepared several things. I would love to own an Instant pot because most recipes are for use with them.
I’ve been struggling with getting regular exercise & my weight loss has been at a dead stop for months now.
I made vegetable soup last night for supper.
I have wanted and instant pot for a while now so that I could have just one pot
that does several things.
I would love to cook healthier so that I would eat healthier.
Supper was chicken cooked in the slow cooker, baked potato, and slaw with tomato.
I’ve been looking @ instant pots before Christmas. There are tons of recipes to try & now all these new WW friendly recipes make it tough to choose which one to start with!!!! I’d love to get dinner cooked faster & healthier. Last night I ate shrimp cocktail & a leftover beef tenderloin sandwich
I’d love to have an Instant Pot that would encourage me to eat a more healthy life style. A goal I’ve set for myself is to eat more vegetables. I’m in rut and eat the same foods. Every article you read stresses the importance of variety. Dinner last night was loaded cauliflower Potatoe soup also a salad with blueberries and feta cheese.
I do not have an insta pot, I would love one to help during weeknights. I went out for dinner and had baked haddock and a side of pasta with marinara sauce
I got my Instant Pot for my birthday in November. Like most, I was completely intimidated but excited for the challenge of cooking with a new device. I have challenged myself to make 1 recipe a week in my IP for 25 weeks. I am in week 12 and going strong.
1. I would like to win the Instant Pot to gift to my mom who doesn’t own one.
2. Excited to learn 13 more, new recipes.
3. Instant Pot Spaghetti
My daughter got an Instant pot for Christmas and she loves it, always sending me pictures of delicious foods she’s making in it and we both follow the WW plan so I would love to win one and join in on the fun! ?
I would love an instant pot as I am losing my eye sight to RP and am having trouble cooking meals and having them turn out. I hope tlhat it will give me incentive to cook healthier meals as I am on WW and struggle with meal decisions especially dinner time. Last nights dinner was a whole can of Italian wedding soup with some left over veggies and 1/2c of whitel kidney beans mixed in. My points were low for the day and the soup itself is only 6 pt for the whole can. Dessert was an apple.
I think making homemade soups in the instant pot would be healthier.
I’ve been hearing how great an InstaPot Is from many friends…how they use it so much and hardly use their stove anymore! Its one kitchen item I have never even been close to, besides seeing them online or up on a shelf in the store. Really curious!
