Happy Thanksgiving Week!
I love Thanksgiving. It’s one of my favorite holidays. With its focus on gathering together with loved ones to enjoy delicious food and give thanks for all our blessings, what’s not to love?
So in honor of the upcoming turkey day festivities and as a small token of our deep appreciation for you, we are giving away one of my favorite kitchen tools for healthy cooking and weight loss – an Instant Pot!

Have you heard of the Instant Pot?
It is a multifunction electric pressure cooker that can produce fork-tender pot roasts in less than an hour, as well as brown meat, cook beans without soaking, and even do the job of a rice cooker (affiliate link) or crockpot.

Though you can find the Instant Pot at Wal-Mart, Target and Kohl’s, the bulk of its sales come from Amazon where it is a top-selling item.
I bought mine a couple of years ago and have been using it consistently ever since – mostly as a slow cooker.
I love that you can switch from saute to slow cooking with the press of a button.
My brother, Peter is experimenting more with pressure cooking to make things like this homemade pumpkin puree.
I could go on and on, but I won’t!
Without further ado…
This Giveaway has ended, please see winner above!

2. None of the above, I do a turkey breast in the crock pot these days.
3. All!
1. cooking
2. roast
3. all of the above
The joys of Thanksgiving is wonderful for me. Family comes together and we talk and eat . Then we go Black Friday shopping. One activity we do is when they enter the home they write down what they are thankful for and put in a basket. After dinner someone reads all the reasons why we are Thankful! Beautiful! I brine then roast the turkey. My cheat is pumpkin trifle, or pecan pumpkin pie. Happy Thanksgiving!
I love to shop. We roast our turkey. Mashed potatoes and gravy are the best!

My favorite Thanksgiving activity is eating and spending time with family. I am very excited to start that tradition this year with my 4 month twin girls! I love to cook, but on a thanksgiving my father has always been the cook for the past 32 years. He roasts the turkey after brining it in the oven. My all time favorite Thanksgiving food is stuffing! I would love an instant pot to start new traditions in my own home with my girls:)
