Happy Thanksgiving Week!

I love Thanksgiving. It’s one of my favorite holidays. With its focus on gathering together with loved ones to enjoy delicious food and give thanks for all our blessings, what’s not to love?

So in honor of the upcoming turkey day festivities and as a small token of our deep appreciation for you, we are giving away one of my favorite kitchen tools for healthy cooking and weight loss – an Instant Pot!

Happy Thanksgiving Instant Pot Giveaway

Have you heard of the Instant Pot?

It is a multifunction electric pressure cooker that can produce fork-tender pot roasts in less than an hour, as well as brown meat, cook beans without soaking, and even do the job of a rice cooker (affiliate link) or crockpot.

Though you can find the Instant Pot at Wal-Mart, Target and Kohl’s, the bulk of its sales come from Amazon where it is a top-selling item.

I bought mine a couple of years ago and have been using it consistently ever since – mostly as a slow cooker.

I love that you can switch from saute to slow cooking with the press of a button.

My brother, Peter is experimenting more with pressure cooking to make things like this homemade pumpkin puree.

I could go on and on, but I won’t!

Without further ado…

This Giveaway has ended, please see winner above!

  1. My fav is spending time with family and friends and roasting my turkey to share with everyone. My indulgence is mashed potatoes and rolls.

  2. I love cooking for family at Thanksgiving. Everyone being together is wonderful. We love having our Turkey roasted in the oven so we get to smell it cooking all day. My favorite splurge is the dressing, my mother’s recipe. Pie is right up there also.

  3. My favorite Thanksgiving activity has got to be spending time with family and friends but cooking comes practically as a tie. I start planning well in advance. We have been smoking our turkey on the Weber grill for over 40 years and it is definitely well received by all who dine here. My favorite splurge is dessert but this year I have given up all processed sugar because my 16 year old grandson is going through chemo for Hodgkins lymphoma so in solidarity with his sacrifice, I decided to make one of my own. I love sweets! His Grandpa shaved his head, but this seems to be a better tack for me to take than shaving my head. Happy Thanksgiving Martha and all your staff, family and friends. You have been a life saver for me since I discovered you.

  4. My favorite part of thanksgiving is being able to spend time with my family. We are roasting the turkey this year. I am looking forward to the pumpkin pie. Saved my points for it.
