The winner of the Spiralizer is Carol Jackson.
Congratulations Carol. Please send an email to support@simple-nourished-living.com to claim your Spiralizer (affiliate link) + Inspiralized Cookbook!
We had so much fun doing our Christmas-in-July giveaways, that we are going to keep them going in August!
Today, in honor of my brother Peter’s birthday, we are giving away one of his favorite kitchen tools – a Spiralizer (affiliate link).
And to provide a little extra inspiration so that you’ll always have a healthy recipe by your side, we’re also including the popular cookbook Inspiralized: Turn Vegetables into Healthy, Creative, Satisfying Meals (affiliate link) by Ali Maffucci.

Spiralizers allow you to beautifully shred, slice and chip most firm vegetables and fruits. They are the perfect kitchen tool for making quick low-carb, healthy veggie noodles from firm fruits/veggies like apple, onion, carrot, zucchini, cucumber, cabbage, beet, turnip, rutabaga, radish, potato, sweet potato, squash and more.
TO ENTER:
To enter, just leave a comment below answering the question: “Which fruits and veggies are you most interested in spiralizing?”
One random winner will be selected and announced right here on Sunday (8/5) morning!
Good Luck!!

Oh gosh! Is there anything I wouldn’t want to try? Definitely Mexican grey squash. So many less seeds than zucchini. The winter squash family would be fun as would be beets and any root vegetable. Potatoes of course. Not sure if apples would make sense but sure would try them anyway. I just love the idea of a spiralizer. Wish it would have been around when my kids were young. I’d probably wear it out trying every vegetable I could find.
Love to spiralize butternut squash and zucchini
Zucchini and summer squash, which we have in abundance right now.
Squash apples sweet potatoes
I would like to spiralize potatoes (regular, sweet, and yam) and apples.
I’ve only used squash and zucchini, I’m thinking it would be great to use an apple and a carrot to make a salad!
Lemon Zucchini Bread anyone? I just finished making 13 loaves to enjoy, give away, and freeze…all without a spiralizer 🙁 I would also use it for carrots to make my salads even more delicious!
Sweet potatoes
I am new to this but I would start with squashes!
I would do as many fruits and veggies as possible. This would be an exciting and healthy alternative to the standard rice, pasta and other heavy starches.
Any and All –maybe squash first for spaghetti!
