Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

  1. What I enjoy the most about Summer is all of the extra Time I get to spend with my son when school is not in, and all the traveling I get to do to see my family and friends.
    And being with family and friends- good smoothies and the occasional margarita is always a plus. Nice summer beverages .

  2. The best thing about Summer are the lovely fruits that are in season. It’s like having candy at every meal. Just a few cherries, or a peach or plum make the meal special every time. You don’t even realize you are on WW.

  3. Love the long days of light, as well as light clothing and light foods, including fresh fruits and veggies from the farmer’s market!

  4. I love being able to wake up when it’s daylight and enjoy the long days. Also, I love the fresh taste from the fruits and vegetables.

  5. Hanging out in NYC, going to free concerts and events, sitting outside in the evenings and weekends (People watching). Getting ice cream. Going to the park, beach and Coney Island.
