Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

  1. What I love about summer is hot, long days by the swimming pool. I also love growing my own vegetables and fruits and preserving them for winter.

  2. I love being able to cook my meats and veggies on the grill. Not only is it delicious, but there is very little clean-up afterwards. A win win for sure.!!

  3. What I love most about summer is the availability of local fresh fruits and vegetables at our numerous farmers markets!! Delish!

  4. I love summer, being from the South, and a senior, I can be very creative to stay cool. I love fruit smoothies and they love me. It’s a great way to stick to a plan and watch the fabulous results on my weight loss journey. I am a weight Watcher member and smoothies are the way to go!
