Today, to celebrate summer, the pinnacle of Smoothie Season, I’m giving away a Ninja Blender (affiliate link).

While I enjoy smoothies all year long, they definitely show up on my radar a lot more during the long warm summer days of summer. Smoothies are such an easy, delicious way to fuel and energize your day.

I know that according to Weight Watchers you are supposed to count the fruit and vegetables when used to make a beverage, I often circumvent the rule by making my smoothies thick enough to eat with a spoon!

A healthy delicious way to bump up my fruit and vegetable intake, as long as I am able to maintain my weight where I want I don’t consider it a crime!

  1. I love Spring and Summer. It is garden time and I love all the fresh fruits and vegetables. I live on them as much as I can. I started making smoothies two years ago and they are so refreshing. I have a binder full of all my favorites. In fact, they all are my favorites. Please keep the recipes coming.

  2. I love summer with all the wonderful fruits, vegetables, beautiful flowers, singing birds early in the morning and butterflies.

  3. I love the long days of summer, the warmth on my skin and the ability to get out and move. I have way more energy, access to a plethra of fresh fruits and vegetable and great fellowship with friends!!

  4. Being able to enjoy the outdoors. Grilling, fresh veggies from the garden. Spending time with family and friends golfing

  5. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, swimming for exercise and just being able to get outside more to get away from the fridge.

  6. What I enjoy about the summer is grills going, outdoor exercise with friends, beautiful skies, families spending days together doing fun things. Daylight is longer and people seem upbeat and pleasant.

  7. What I love most about summer is having lots of free fruits and vegetables to help make watching my weight watchers points more easy. We enjoy lots of smoothies instead of ice cream to help keep us cooled off while at the same time getting our daily fruit intake.

  8. I absolutely love all the in season fruits and vegetables that are abundant in summer. I like wearing summer clothes and being outdoors also. Cooking on the grill is another great thing about summer! The beach and the pool are both great things about summer. As you can probably guess, my favorite time of the year is summer!
